God of the broken

Although my story is different, and I did not experience abuse early in my childhood as Melissa did, much of what she wrote powerfully resonates with me. Even her words about showers…but most importantly about how our God is a God of the broken.

It is wonderful news that our God is a God of healing and redemption, and that none of us are broken beyond repair.

Dr. Valerie Hobbs has contacted us in regard to research she is doing on how abuse victims and abuse cases are being handled in Reformed churches. We agreed to post her request here.
